Frequently Asked Questions
WHO and SFA advised exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months and weaning thereafter. Deliciously Bib recommends you to start from 7 month onwards as our purees have a slight texture. Our Hainanese Beef Stew contains diced radish cubes which burst with flavour as the babies mashes them with their gums. Lotus Root contains the soft Huai Shan bits while ABC Stew contains diced, softly-steam carrot.
Here at Deliciously Bib, we believe in expanding the repertoire of foods, textures and tastes for our babies so that it paves the way for them not to be fussy eaters or prefers only a certain cooking style, such as deep frying.
Deliciously Bib is also distinctively Asian Inspired. Given our Asian heritage recipes, our pouches contain varied, delicious and healthy ingredients which helps to provide a balanced diet. With the creative use of spices, we do not need to add any sugar, salt, or artificial flavourings and therefore, are ideal for babies who are just embarking on Stage Two weaning and beyond. No preservatives have been used as well. We are also generous and exacting with our ingredient proportions so that taste is not compromised.
The food is prepared in a childcare specialist kitchen where our chefs are accustomed to strict standards of hygiene for food preparation. Care has been taken to select the freshest ingredients and cooked in a clearly documented process where taste and nutrition are optimized. This process has been carefully worked through with a Food scientist in Food Innovation Research Centre (FIRC). Caution has been taken to ensure food safety with every single batch tested for micro-bacteria before they are put up on shelves.
Hence, we believe Deliciously Bib to be a great weaning partner for mummies and nutritionally superior for babies. The recipes were first created with no budget in mind, only great taste and love. You only have to look at the premium ingredients in our pouches and the percentage in the ingredient list to know!
When not opened, Deliciously Bib pouches do not need to keep in the fridge. This is because the pouches have gone through a high temperature retort process to ensure that there are no bacteria left in the pouches that will cause contamination.
Once opened to feed baby, bacteria will inevitably go in. Any remaining stew will now need to be kept in the fridge. You can seal up the pouch with a clip and use the remaining stew within 48 hours.
Lotus Roots with Chicken and Huai Shan contains shellfish. This has been clearly labelled in bold at the back of the pouch. Hence, only suitable for 12+ months.
There is no need to freeze Deliciously Bib pouches. Our pouch has a shelf life of 1 year from date of manufacture. In addition, freezing might cause the texture to be affected.
You cannot microwave our pouches due to the food grade metal being present in our packaging. We recommend just putting the pouch directly into a warm bath for a few minutes, if you want the stew to be served warm. Otherwise, eating directly from the pouch is perfectly safe and yummy too.
No, no, no. Our stews stay fresh because of the cooking, sealing and sterilization process, no other additives absolutely.
No, they are not organic. Several ingredients in there make it challenging for us to find organically certified ones, especially on our little sunny island.
